360-degrees scans or walk throughs as they are called, are relatively new technology to the construction industry, that said, they are being used more and more as a way of allowing clients to view properties from the comfort of their own homes without having to travel unnecessarily.

One can take basic measurements from these walk throughs and images, but one is advised to have a detailed survey completed as the walk through is more for svisual assistance in regard to purchasing, or having weekly updates on a development scheme, however they are useful for identifying issues on site as one can zoom in and view a 360-degree aspect of the building.

We have provided 2 examples for your perusal, the first one is of a dive shop where we present the floor plan and the 360-degree doll house as it is called, the second one is of a commercial unit this is a large beauty therapy unit where we started to map part of the complex and then expanded gradually to incorporate 90% of the building, we have what’s known as a floor plan again and also a dolls house representation which can be zoomed into once again.
