Thermal imaging is the only non-contact method of investigation for buildings, eliminating the need to physically inspect behind a finished structure. Examples of what we can find out for you are: poor construction, thermal / cold bridging, missing or damaged insulation, moisture & water ingress, air leakage & unintentional openings (for example doors and windows that are hidden behind substandard brick work or plaster board), poor thermal comfort, and dampness that could lead to the growth of moulds.
We apply this technology to the following: flats, houses and residential tower blocks, height restriction applicable (enquire for details), housing stock (Councils & Property Managers), flat roofs, burst buried heating pipes, faulty underfloor heating, leaking hot water pipes underneath floors or in walls.
These reports are known as qualitative thermography as this establishes the location of the fault.
